We were recently very excited to complete our first professional animation, commissioned by the International Labour Organization. This animation is part of a small media suite, including an infographic that we also created for the Women's Entrepreneurship Development Programme.

The biggest challenge with this job was pouring through all the official studies and literature to help the clients script the story of the ILO-WED, retaining accuracy while cultivating a more general appeal. In other words, international development policy can sometimes be rather dense on its own. Plus, the data is rarely aggregate, so identifying common variables for comparison is tricky. This was more of a challenge with the info graphics than with the animation, which was allowed to be more general.

The animation was scored by intuitive collaborator and fellow Vermonter Tyler Gibbons at Mildew And Star.

Stating the obvious? One can never be sure.
